Macnman Technologies Pvt. Ltd. – Standard Warranty Terms & Conditions (2025 Updated)
Introduction
Macnman Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Macnman”) is committed to delivering reliable, industrial-grade IoT devices designed for monitoring, automation, and long-term field operations. To support our customers and partners worldwide, Macnman provides a Standard Limited Warranty that ensures protection against manufacturing and workmanship defects.
This Warranty Policy applies globally. In case of conflict with local laws, local regulations will prevail.
This Limited Warranty applies exclusively to Macnman-branded products, including hardware and necessary embedded firmware. It does not cover:
- Non-Macnman software
- Third-party sensors, modules, accessories, or peripherals
- Products not manufactured or supplied by Macnman
Macnman is not responsible for interoperability or compatibility issues arising from components, applications, or integrations not approved by Macnman.
Warranty Coverage
Standard Product Warranty (3 Years)
All Macnman hardware products are covered under a three (3) year warranty from the date of original purchase (invoice date), covering:
- Mechanical enclosures
- Electronic components
- RF circuitry and communication modules
- Embedded firmware supplied by Macnman
- PCB and internal hardware assemblies
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
Battery & Sensor Probe Warranty (Variant-Based)
Batteries and sensor probes are excluded from the 3-year warranty. Warranty duration depends on model and product category:
- Lithium battery cells: 6–12 months
- Non-rechargeable batteries: No warranty
- Soil moisture probes: 6–12 months
- pH probes: 6 months
- Gas sensor cartridges (H₂S, NH₃, CO₂, CH₄): 6–12 months
- Optical, ultrasonic, and other detachable sensor probes: 12 months
Final warranty duration for these items shall match each product’s datasheet.
Warranty for Replaced or Repaired Parts
Repaired or replaced components are warranted for:
- 90 days, or
- The remaining warranty period of the device
Whichever is longer.
Transferability & Responsibilities
This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to:
- Direct customers purchasing from Macnman
- OEM/Distributor partners with valid commercial agreements
End users must contact the distributor from whom they purchased the product.
Customers are responsible for:
- Ensuring product compatibility in their use case
- Informing end users about correct installation & integration
- Maintaining data backups
Macnman is not liable for any data loss resulting from installation, servicing, firmware updates, or device failure.
After-Sales Service & RMA Handling
RMA Request and Approval
Before returning any product, customers must request an RMA Number by emailing:
support@macnman.com
Required details:
- Product model
- Serial number / QR code / MAC ID
- Purchase invoice
- Fault description
- Installation images (if applicable)
- Logs or data (if applicable)
Shipping & Logistics
- Customer → Macnman: Customer bears shipping, packing, insurance & handling.
- Macnman → Customer: Macnman covers shipping only for approved warranty repairs.
- Out-of-warranty cases: Round-trip shipping paid by customer.
Inspection & Service
Macnman reserves the right to inspect all returned products. Warranty is void for:
- Physical damage
- Improper installation
- Broken/tampered warranty seal
- Force majeure events
- Liquid damage due to improper sealing
- Damage caused by insects, rodents, corrosion, or chemicals
Service is subject to component availability.
Out-of-Warranty Repair Charges
Repair cost will be communicated in advance and approved by the customer before repairs begin.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does NOT cover:
- Accidental, physical, or environmental damage
- Incorrect power supply, reversed polarity, surge, or lightning
- Water ingress due to incorrect gland or cable entry
- Damage from chemicals, fertilizers, or corrosive materials
- Improper installation or misuse
- Unauthorized modifications, repair attempts, or third-party servicing
- Use of unofficial accessories, antennas, or batteries
- Software applications not provided by Macnman
- Damage due to incorrect firmware flashing
- Wear-and-tear parts such as connectors, cables, sensors, or consumables
Software & Firmware Updates
Macnman may release firmware updates to enhance product performance.
Customers are responsible for:
- Keeping the device updated
- Ensuring correct firmware installation
Improper flashing or installation of non-Macnman firmware voids the warranty.
Technical Support
Technical support is available during the warranty period at no additional cost.
Post-warranty technical assistance may be subject to service fees.
Modifications to Products
Any modification, repair, or opening carried out by unauthorized personnel voids the warranty.
OEM partners must follow Macnman’s RF, PCB, and integration guidelines to retain module warranty.
Limitation of Liability
Macnman’s liability is strictly limited to repairing or replacing defective hardware.
Macnman is not liable for:
- Business losses
- Downtime or operational interruptions
- Data loss
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Force Majeure
Macnman shall not be liable for warranty obligations delayed or prevented by events beyond its control, including:
- Natural disasters
- War or terrorism
- Government actions
- Labor strikes
- Supply chain disruptions
Compliance with Laws
Customers must ensure that the installation and operation of Macnman devices comply with all applicable laws and industry standards in their country/region.
Indemnification
Customers agree to indemnify and hold Macnman harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modification of Macnman products.
Severability
If any clause within this warranty is found invalid by law, the remaining clauses shall continue to be enforceable.

Macnman reserves the right to modify or update this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice.
