Macnman Technologies Pvt. Ltd. operates strictly as a hardware-only IoT product company.
We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any customer data, device telemetry, or site information.
This document outlines our compliance, privacy, environmental, security, and regulatory policies.

Privacy Policy (Hardware-Only Model)​

Macnman does not operate any cloud platform and does not receive or store any data from deployed devices.

No Data Collection​

Macnman does not collect:

  • Personal information
  • Device telemetry or diagnostics
  • Site or location data
  • Network configuration or keys
  • Usage statistics or analytics

Any data that a customer processes through their own systems (LoRaWAN Network Server, WiFi gateway, 4G cloud, SCADA, etc.) remains fully under their control.

Support Interactions​

Macnman only receives information that customers voluntarily provide during support cases, such as:

  • Device photos
  • Error descriptions
  • Serial numbers / MAC IDs
  • Installation details
  • Logs (optional)

These are used strictly to diagnose issues and are not retained longer than necessary.

No Remote Access​

Macnman products do not give Macnman remote access to any customer networks or systems.

Terms of Use (Hardware Products)​

By using Macnman products, customers agree to the following:

Customer Responsibility​

  • Customers are fully responsible for device installation, connectivity, and data routing.
  • All LoRaWAN, WiFi, Cellular, or NB-IoT configurations are customer-managed.
  • All telemetry is stored in customer-owned systems.

Third-Party Systems​

Macnman is not responsible for issues caused by:

  • LoRaWAN Network Servers (ChirpStack, TTN, private LNS)
  • Gateways or cellular networks
  • Customer cloud platforms
  • Data loss or corruption within customer environments

Authorized Firmware Only​

Only Macnman-approved firmware must be used.
Unauthorized firmware or modification voids the warranty.

Environmental & Safety Compliance​

Macnman follows global standards for responsible electronics manufacturing.

Environmental Compliance​

  • RoHS compliant materials
  • Safe battery handling guidelines
  • Recyclable packaging where possible
  • Mandatory e-waste disposal compliance for customers

Battery Safety​

Products containing lithium batteries require:

  • No exposure to fire or extreme heat
  • Proper disposal via authorized recycling centers
  • Compliance with UN38.3 handling regulations

Regulatory & Certification Compliance​

Macnman provides regulatory compliance documentation where applicable.
These may include:

  • CE Compliance
  • WPC Compliance
  • RoHS Certification
  • IP Rating Certifications
  • Battery safety certificates
  • Calibration certificates (for sensors)

Certificates are available on the product pages or upon request.

Security Policy (Hardware-Only)​

Macnman implements industry-standard device-level security, including:

Device Security Measures​

  • Secure firmware update mechanisms
  • MCU-level memory protection (varies by model)
  • Customer-managed LoRaWAN keys

Customer Responsibility​

Since Macnman does not operate any servers, customers must secure:

  • Gateways
  • Network servers
  • Cloud dashboards
  • API keys and credentials

Compliance With Local Laws​

Customers must ensure that deployment of Macnman products complies with:

  • Regional radio frequency regulations
  • Installation safety codes
  • Industry-specific operational norms (agriculture, utilities, industrial, mining, etc.)

Macnman provides required compliance documents but does not perform site-specific approvals.
