Conditions and Assumptions
Compliance
Design will comply with applicable CE requirements for industrial electronics.
Wi‑Fi RF operation will comply with applicable regional wireless regulations (pre‑compliance scope).
Final certification and authority approvals, if required, are outside the current project scope unless explicitly stated.
Unique Serial Code
Each deployed edge controller and sensing unit will carry a unique serial number for identification.
Serial numbers will be used for installation records, calibration mapping, maintenance tracking, and data correlation.
Site & Infrastructure Assumptions
Adequate physical mounting locations are available for LiDAR sensors, cameras, and edge controllers near the track.
Stable power availability is provided at the installation location.
Line‑of‑sight or acceptable mounting geometry is feasible for accurate wagon profiling and speed detection.
Necessary permissions for trackside installation will be arranged by the customer.
Manufacturing & Procurement
Availability of LiDAR sensors, AI cameras, and industrial networking components is subject to supplier lead times.
Any delays caused by global supply constraints may impact the project schedule.
Component substitutions due to EOL or non‑availability will be proposed with equivalent or better specifications and will require customer approval .
Data & Accuracy Assumptions
Wagon load estimation is based on relative 3D profiling and is not intended to replace certified weighbridge systems.
Accuracy is dependent on correct installation, calibration, and environmental conditions.
Extreme dust accumulation or physical obstructions may temporarily affect measurement accuracy.
Scope Changes
Any request beyond the defined scope—such as additional analytics, third‑party system integrations, dashboard customization, or production‑scale rollouts—will be treated as a separate scope of work .
Scope changes may impact commercial terms, timelines, and delivery milestones and will require formal written approval.
